Ahmaud Herman is the Founder of The Herman Legacy Foundation, an organization dedicated to expanding educational access and providing life-enhancing opportunities for K–12 students in underserved communities. Raised in Belle Glade, Florida, Ahmaud’s personal journey deeply informs the mission of the organization and its commitment to empowering youth through education and exposure.
A proud alumnus of Glades Central High School, Ahmaud went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida A&M University and his master’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University. In September, he began his professional career as a Staff Accountant at EY, one of the Big Four accounting firms.
While grateful for his accomplishments, Ahmaud remains mindful of the limited opportunities available to many students growing up in communities like his own. He founded The Herman Legacy Foundation to help provide students with access, resources, and experiences he wishes he had earlier in life. Through mentorship, education, and opportunity-building programs, Ahmaud hopes to inspire young people to believe in their potential and understand that their background does not define their future.
Ahmaud is passionate about showing the next generation that, regardless of where you come from, anything is possible with determination, hard work, and the right support.
